Alex – NetSpotKeymasterHi… it’s great that you have another Mac and can see that NetSpot actually works perfect. It’s surely bad that it’s not a MacBook :) Hold on, we’ll update you asap
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterIt surely helps. We send out our comments on every survey sent to us, so if you did, stay tuned!
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterThe manual is easily accessible from the app and the website: /help/
Can you send your project to us for a review? Compress the .netspd file and email it to onair@netspotapp.com
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterI’ll update you shortly.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterAny other software accessing your AirPort adapter at the same time with NetSpot?
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterGlad it finally worked. Thanks for letting us know
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterSure, have a look here: http://forum.netspotapp.com/discussion/21
You will be able to run multiple surveys of the same zones in NetSpot 2, btw. We call it zone’s snapshots.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterWe are always here to help. What exactly do you mean? NetSpot needs to be run on MacBooks to be effective.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterNo dates yet, unfortunately. But we’ll be reaching out when we need testers. Thanks
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterSorry, forgot to mention that you might need to hover the networks in the map’s popover as well.

Active wireless surveys are definitely on the roadmap. Stay tuned.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterSeems like custom AP aliases should resolve the issue you are having. In NetSpot 1.x you can do the following: hover the name of the network in the sidebar, you will see the hint with additional details about it. Note the BSSID (AP’s MAC-address). Now, whenever you click the map, you will be able to see which AP’s signal strength (or other parameters) you see in the popup. Does this help?

I had a similar issue with one of the Android devices not long ago…
All true
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterMarisa, can we ask the devs to remove that point for Mark manually?
Mark, the good news is: NetSpot 2.0 will let you remove samples randomly. We still won’t let users move them around the map, but you’ll be able to delete them.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterWelcome, Mark!
