Alex – NetSpotKeymasterThis feature request has been sitting on our roadmap for quite some time already. We’ll do our best to have it implemented sooner or later.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterGot it. Give me some time to discuss this with the team…
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterHi Jacob, didn’t receive the request, but sent the beta link to your email anyway.

See this: /help/talk/topic/the-same-wap-multiple-times-in-1-zone/
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterIt’s not, you are right, email us for a link to a beta version that lets you import/export AP aliases: onair@netspotapp.com
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterHi Marook, it seems that you will need to wait a bit, we are currently working on iperf integration, and this will be a huge update to NetSpot’s speed testing features. All the issues you mentioned here will be definitely addressed.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterHi Stephen, we are checking this now. Thanks for reporting the issue.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterStephen, we are working on this right now. Next update :)
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterYou are right. We have adjusted the comparison chart. NetSpot Free does not provide any exporting features. However, there should be no difference in the way NetSpot Scanner and NetSpot Free are zooming the map.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterSounds like you are using the older NetSpot Scanner 1.3 from the App Store. It does not let you visualize more than 1 AP at a time. In fact, NetSpot Free from the website will let you select more than 5 APs at a time.
If you scanned a large building, you might consider getting NetSpot PRO. This is explained in details here: https://www.netspotapp.com/netspotpro.html and here: /help/what-is-the-difference-between-netspot-free-scanner-reporter-and-pro/
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterHi there…
1. True, the more samples, the better. But it leads (sometimes) to substantially longer calculations before you can update the heatmap.
2. We are getting a lot of surveys from our clients, but we don’t always get authorizations to share them. But we were thinking of having a section on the website that will display a collection of shared surveys. Hopefully, it will be up some time soon.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterHi again, seems as the issue has been resolved with Marisa from assist team, yeah? So the weaker APs have just been filtered out in visualization settings, haven’t they?
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterMy apologies if tech support seemed to be a bit suspicious. I’m speaking with my team now and will update you asap.
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterWe are looking into this. But the decision has not been made yet. Anyone else wanting this? :)
Alex – NetSpotKeymasterHi Chris, sorry for the delayed follow-up. It’s a good point. I’ll keep you informed on our progress.
