    Hi All,

It’s nice that the visualization can be changed, to only show like -65db in signal level, but often, I would like to show the range, and then it would be super nice with a Line where that signal-limit is.

Like, display the ‘rainbow’ visualization as now, but have another option for showing a LINE at a set level.

As it is right now, it’s hard to see just where a -65db signal level is, if the map shows from -10db to -90db. And setting the min signal level to what I want shown, seems to produce a strange result…

Got it. Give me some time to discuss this with the team…

    Some further inputs:

1: This could also be accomplished by ‘greying out’ the area under the set threshold.
I like to disable the ‘Grey out unmeasured areas’, so in that case, it could be valid. But:

2: It could be nice to invert the ‘rainbow’, so Red is ‘under required level’.
I guess red is currently used as ‘hot’ areas ( it Is a ‘heat map’ after all), but Red means ‘warning’ in the human brain, making much more sense here as a warning. And green/blue is ‘we are safe’ areas. In terms of correct coverage.

Concerning your main question here: have you checked NetSpot’s troubleshooting visualizations? I guess that’s exactly what you are looking for.

And we are definitely planning to let users edit the color legend. It was planned in 1.x, in 2.0.x, but always gets postponed by more popular features. Will keep you updated.

The heatmap gradient is finally editable: /help/netspot-2-4
