Marisa_NetSpotParticipantHello,
If you perform an indoor site survey (your office or apartment), then it is recommended to create every new data point on the border of existing green circle (i.e. stop and click on the map every 3 meters). If you perform outdoor site surveys, you can place sampling points more rarely, but still close to existing green circles.
Please read carefully the following article, you will find all necessary recommendations there: /help/tips-and-hints-running-a-wireless-site-survey/
Marisa_NetSpotParticipantPlease, see our reply via email. We are working on your issue and need more information from you.
Marisa_NetSpotParticipantHello, I would assume you are using NetSpot 1.3.335 (or 1.3.336 available on the AppStore). We got several similar reports from other users, and would also guess that you are having this issue on Mac OS 10.6.x. Is that correct?
First of all, please, try to restart your Mac.
If the problem persists, please, perform the following:
1. Â Check whether the same problem occurs with the new not-yet-released build of NetSpot. We emailed you the link.
2. Try resetting your Mac’s PRAM
3. Install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
4. Also, please, execute the following command in Terminal and send us the results: uname -a
Several users who experienced this bug were able to fix it using one or the other method listed above. -
