Generally, your projects are cross-platform and can be opened in NetSpot for macOS, Windows, and Android no matter which instance of NetSpot they were originally created with. However, keep in mind that NetSpot is a constantly improving and changing app, and some changes may affect which project features are supported by older versions of NetSpot and which ones are not.
For example, NetSpot 2 projects can only be opened on the same operating system they were created on. Some projects created in newer versions of NetSpot cannot be opened in older versions due to some functionality being absent in older versions of the app. NetSpot for Android supports existing wireless network surveys created in other editions of NetSpot, however it currently doesn’t support the latest predictive survey projects from desktop editions, because certain features, like custom and new default antennas, are not supported.
