[Zone] Why would I need more than one zone?

You may not need more than one zone, but if the spaces you wish to scan are in separate (non-contiguous) areas, or on separate floors, you should create a zone for each one. It is also good to set up separate zones if you are scanning a particularly large area, as the maximum map file size we recommend for one zone is 3000 x 2000 pixels.

Never use one zone for multiple floors.
