FAQ: Will changing channels improve my results?

Just changing the channel of a Wi-Fi network doesn’t improve the signal level directly, but it may lessen the interference in your network and therefore improve your signal-to-interference ratio. APs can blind each other if they use the same channel. So when building a network out of several APs, you should place them in such a way that neighboring APs use different channels.
