FAQ: Is there NetSpot for iPad or Android tablets?

There is! In fact – there are!

We have released a NetSpot version for Android as well as one for iOS devices. They are not quite the same as NetSpot for laptop and desktop just yet, but we are working hard on making them better and more powerful with every new release.

NetSpot for Android has a friendly interface, where you can see the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac live data with such network details as the name, MAC address, signal level, etc. The app supports both 2.4 and 5GHz frequency bands. You can get NetSpot for Android on the play store for free. You’ll need Android OS 6.0+.

At this time, NetSpot for iOS has to be used together with the WiPry 2500x device to collect data and analyze your own as well as neighboring wireless networks. NetSpot for iOS itself is free. Just like the Android version, it supports both 2.4 and 5GHz frequency bands; shows the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac live data; collects such network details as the name, MAC address, signal level, etc. You’ll need iOS version 7.0 or higher to install and use NetSpot on your device.

Please stay tuned and don’t hesitate to send us your questions and suggestions.
