FAQ: Is there NetSpot for iPad or Android tablets?

There is! In fact – there are! There is NetSpot for Android and there is also NetSpot for iPad and iPhone. These apps are not quite the same as NetSpot for laptop and desktop, but we are working hard on making them better and more powerful with every new release.

NetSpot for Android has a friendly interface, where you can see the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax live data with such network details as the name, MAC address, signal level, etc. The app supports 2.4, 5GHz and 6GHz frequency bands. You can get NetSpot for Android on the Play Store for free. You’ll need Android 8.0+.

NetSpot for Android

NetSpot for iOS is available on the App Store and offers Survey mode, Device Discovery, Internet speed test and Ping test. You can measure the download and upload speeds, and create WiFi heatmaps based on the gathered data directly on your iPhone or iPad. You can also use a separate Ping tab to check whether certain hosts and websites are available. Device Discovery allows you to collect a broad range of information about the devices currently connected to your wireless network.

NetSpot for iOS

You’ll need iOS version 15.5 or later and iPadOS 15.5 or later to install and use NetSpot on your device.
