Technician license is a free supplementary license that is sometimes needed to analyze heatmaps and create reports on a different laptop. Technician license is available to those who purchase NetSpot PRO or NetSpot Enterprise.
This type of license allows you to view and manage (including export) existing NetSpot projects that were created on a different computer. Technician license does not allow you to perform a new survey of an existing network or a new WiFi planning survey.
You get one technician license with the purchase of NetSpot PRO and a technician license for up to 10 technician activations on other computers with NetSpot Enterprise license. After placing the order for a NetSpot license, Technician license code(s) can be requested from our support team at onair@netspotapp.com.
