richcortesParticipantAlex,
Would you mind sending me the scripts as well? Thanks you.

richcortesParticipantFeedback has been sent. Still experience the 5 minute plus length between collection points
richcortesParticipantNo problem. I am glad to help. I am taking a few measurements now and will send the feedback shortly.
richcortesParticipantWill do. Yes both Airmagnet and Ekahau run under Windows. I believe it is a fair comparison since they are both for the most part industry standards when it comes to site surveys. The fact that one is windows and one is mac has no relevance from a site survey engineer prospective.
BTW, at what point during the process should I send the feedback? When I initially click for my current location, half way through, towards the end or when it is complete? Let me know.
richcortesParticipantIs there anyway to select a particular SSID to check coverage for? Is there anyway to only connect to a specific AP? For new greenfield deployments, I typically use my own AP that I connect to and then do my walkabout connected to that AP. For a post install verification, I would connect to the SSID used by the customer to check coverage throughout and make sure the signal levels and power levels were there.
richcortesParticipantAfter a fresh restart with nothing but Netspot running it still took just under 6 minutes to record one location. Is this really normal? I have used both Airmagnet and Ekahau site survey tools and have never seen this issue.
richcortesParticipantThanks for the info. I will do a fresh restart of my macbook pro and just run netspot and see if that speeds up the process at all.
richcortesParticipantI have not had the issue since my post. I didn’t think mine was an HI problem. Either way, if I see it again I will use the send feedback button.
richcortesParticipantThis looks like a great start. I just downloaded and started doing some testing. Map imports work great and the scaling is very easy as well. However, when I go to start the survey after outlining the premise to be surveyed, Netspot is saying that there are no wifi networks detected. I have 6 APs up and running on various channels both 2.4 and 5gHz with various SSIDs from wep to wpa2-psk. Any thoughts. I am on a mac book pro fully updated on 10.6.8. I also receive an error:
An error occurred while scanning
Would you like to try again?Unknown Error
