    Hi,

    So as to be able to perform upload/download speed testing during surveys where no Internet connection is available, could it be possible to specify the list of servers that are contacted? I would like to be able to specify local servers (that may be a simple computer hooked behind an AP on a stick). In the meantime, could you provide the list of used servers, so I can write a spoofed host file to redirect to local a server.

    By the way, do you (or plan to) integrate with iPerf to do this testing? As it is the industry standard, this would be wonderful to create simple local servers to integrate with NetSpot to do active survey.

    Hi Guillaume, please, check an email from me. I sent you the address of the script that is used for Internet speed tests.

    As for local network assessment and iPerf: yes, it’s planned! Probably for NetSpot 2.2+

    Any chance we might be able to do this, also? It’d be great to have the option to do local hosting for WLAN speed testing as well as WWAN.

    All we can do now, is share what we already have. We didn’t start working on iPerf integration yet. Emailed the scripts to you.

    Is there any chance I can get the location of the script with list of download/upload servers?
    I find upload speeds are very accurate but download is way off ( This is a great feature)

    Hi Alex,

    i have to test ourn inhouse wlan with and without wan connect. Can i have the script for iperf please, to check our inhouse connection speed to the servers?
