Though I cannot help, I will +1 this.
I am unable to stop any scanning until I have selected at least three points on the map. This is an issue when I make a mistake or I need to verify my settings because the scan must be abandoned completely and restarted from scratch – unless there is something that I am missing.

If am not overlooking something here, the appropriate behavior should be that the operator can abort the survey at any time and return to the settings of that specific scan without having to start from the beginning. I would like to be able to back out to the settings so that I may verify or change settings and then perform the survey.

I too am experiencing this issue running Mac OSX 10.8.5, MacBook Air (802.11 ac) and the latest Pro version of NetSpot.
I sent an email to tech support about this issue and have not heard anything in return – disappointing.

I ran a few tests in my environment to ascertain if this issue is firewall related, and if so, why it was not functioning – I did not discover anything that was glaringly obvious. My though is that this has something to do with the NetSpot servers, maybe they have very limited resources dedicated to this feature?

Regardless of what is going on, I have NEVER been able to use the feature via HTTP with their servers, on any network. I can only use iperf servers and even that process is somewhat wonky.

For instance, I can only perform iperf testing on one AP at a time, regardless of what I check within the setup of the project. If I select Active scanning on “these” networks and check more than one, NetSpot still only iperfs one network and I am left with results that show 0.00 for all networks other than the first network tested.
The details box shows all of the networks that were selected, but only the first network has actual results even though all credentials are passed to NetSpot and the iperf server is successfully reached.

The iperf settings are addressed within the “help” page, but there is plenty of information that is either missing or misrepresented.

No matter what my iperf settings reflect, NetSpot never tests UDP and TCP in the same survey, I am always presented with the TCP results but when the UDP results are selected from the dropdown, they are always 0.00 even though the server tests UDP and TCP both.

Yes, absolutely interested. The integration would be very helpful… especially with iperf.
Continue the great efforts NetSpot team!
