We are thrilled to announce the new NetSpot 5 for macOS and Windows! We never stop listening to what our customers have to say, therefore we consistently add new features and possibilities to the app in order to keep your WiFi at its best.
In the present release the Planning Mode got a lot of updates with plenty of customization possibilities for Access Points including their antennas: select the directionality, set the horizontal and vertical angles, import your own antenna, etc.
There are more heatmaps now: secondary signal heatmap is now available as well as the secondary signal troubleshooting heatmap.
But that’s not all. Please take a look at the full list of updates in this major version:
- added Add antennas to your APs in Planning mode. Lots of configuration options as well as antenna import from file.
- added Two new heatmap types: secondary signal and secondary signal troubleshooting.
- added Heatmaps can now be cropped.
- added WiFi 7 is fully supported in NetSpot for Windows.
- improved Toolbar for zones and snapshots management.
- improved The Planning mode algorithms for even more precise heatmaps.
- fixed Lots of minor fixes for an enhanced usability and stability
