    I’d like to survey a new location which has no wireless. I will have 1 AP on a pole which I will move around to the prospective locations within the building. I would then like to create a survey map from this.
    Does netspot support this? How would I go about doing it with the software? I have purchased the full version.

    I guess your scenario is similar to this one: /help/talk/topic/the-same-wap-multiple-times-in-1-zone/ – there are several hints on how this can be accomplished with the current version of NetSpot. Anyway, we are considering a special survey mode, something like incremental survey, where you would be able to virtualize APs and their positions in the area with only one (or several) real AP. This feature will be based on current snapshots and joining them together selectively.
