NetSpot reports 4 Mbps as my home networks maximum download speed while Speedtest.net reports 14 Mbps (http://www.speedtest.net/result/2742635213.png). May this difference be due to NetSpot’s using only American servers while Speedtest.net selects the best available test server in Brazil based on ping test? Would it be possible to either NetSpot select servers in Brazil or send me the list of current test servers so I cant run Speedtest.net with these servers in order to get and compare similar results between NetSpot and Speedtest.net?
Hi Iuri, you are definitely right about the reason why NetSpot reports a lower Internet speed. While it can’t be changed the simple way, I would question the real need to report the maximum Internet speed with your ISP, for instance. We are checking the Internet speed here, right? But there will be a way to configure server address in NetSpot soon.
