I don’t know if this would be possible but here it goes. I want to be able to tell the speed test and transmit rate feature to not test every radio on a array. The arrays in particular are Xirrus and sometimes Ruckus. I would only like to test 5Ghz N. I can see how this may be difficult due to MAC address and channel differences but a simple solution would be to tell NetSpot to not change radios just run the speed tests on the radio and channel it’s currently using.

On top of this the option adding support for more USB(Thunderbolt) wireless adapters would allow speed tests to be done quicker along with tests.

When you enable Active Scanning when creating a new survey, there’s the option namely “Enable active scanning of the connected network” – isn’t that what you are looking for?

We are still working on supporting external WiFi adapters within NetSpot.
