After reading most of the “issues” topics and other forum posts, I get the feeling that NetSpot has all but abandoned development on the Pro and free versions. When was the last major update pushed – or even bug fixes and corrections?

Why do I get that feeling? When the “issue” forum is the only way to communicate with tech support and the average post is over six (6) months old, it leaves one with a bad feeling about the project and the development.

What is the roadmap on this project, is there one that we know of?
Why does it take so long for a concise and correct remediation to issues being posted?

I have only begun to post here and therefore it appears that I am new to the scene, but that surely does not answer the valid questions being asked. I have been using NetSpot for a couple of years now and I really believed in the project – hence the purchase.
I am now beginning to believe that Enterprise is the only project with any traction and support – at least I would think they are receiving support for the price.

Someone from NetSpot correct me if this is not the case. Actions speak louder than forums boards though.

Hi Michael, I can assure you that everyone’s home and working hard on NetSpot. Our major support line is email, and that is also on time with a usual turnaround of 24 hours or less. Thank you for checking in. I agree we were a bit slow on updates last year, and I can assure you it’s changing to the better. The new version 2.5 (Mac) is just a few days from the release. We are planning version 2.6 right after, the new UI, planning mode, iOS and Android versions in the works as well. Stay tuned.

PS: we might be prioritizing support for Enterprise clients over others, but believe me, all requests are handled equally important for the free and paid clients.
