    Hello,

My WiFi network (Apple AirPort Extreme) is configured to not broadcast its SSID.

Although I have activated the Pro version of NetSpot, my WiFi network is not displayed in the list of networks (in Discover mode). I am currently connected to my WiFi network (802.11ac, channel 161 / 5 GHz).

According to the information published on https://www.netspotapp.com/netspotpro.html, NetSpot Pro should feature “Hidden networks detection and scanning”.

Is there a configuration option in NetSpot Pro (or something else I need to do) to discover/view hidden networks?

I am using NetSpot Pro 2.4 on a rMBP (MacBookPro11,3) running Mac OS X 10.9.4.

    Thanks,
    Radu Carlan

Hi Radu, have you checked if you also cannot see this network in Survey mode?

I asked that to know whether you are having an issue similar to this one, or you are just lacking the functionality to see non-broadcasting APs in Discover Mode: /help/talk/topic/not-recognizing-my-own-connected-network/
