It&#8217;s a mandatory requirement for all macOS apps working with Wi-Fi due to recent changes in the platform.<\/p>\n<p>If the Location services are not enabled for Wifiner, there is no way for the app to access the Wi-Fi data on macOS 10.14 Mojave.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 30px\">Enabling Location Services<\/h2>\n<p>Follow these steps to enable location services in macOS 10.14 Mojave:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Security &amp; Privacy icon in the System Preferences window.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Privacy tab.<\/li>\n<li>If the padlock icon in the lower left is locked ( <img class=\"size-full inline\" style=\"position: relative; top:-7px\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/locked_icon.png\" alt=\"locked\" width=\"21\" height=\"27\"> ), click it and enter an admin name and password to unlock it ( <img class=\"size-full inline\" style=\"position: relative; top:-7px\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/unlocked_icon.png\" alt=\"unlocked\" width=\"25\" height=\"28\"> ).<\/li>\n<li>Select Location Services.<\/li>\n<li>Check the &#8220;Enable Location Services&#8221; checkbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"max-width: 970px; margin:0 auto 15px\">\n<!-- 16:9 aspect ratio --><\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\">\n<iframe class=\"embed-responsive-item\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UJTYmVBcbhU\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Apps that you have allowed to use Location Services appear in the Privacy pane of Security &amp; Privacy preferences. Checkboxes show whether Location Services is turned on or off for an app. If you don\u2019t want to allow Location Services for one or more apps, you can deselect (uncheck) the checkbox next to an app&#8217;s name. If you turn Location Services off for an app, you are prompted for permission the next time that app requests to use your location data.<\/p>\n<h3>Location Services indicator<\/h3>\n<p>If an app is currently using Location Services, an arrow indicator (<img class=\"size-full inline\" style=\"position: relative; top:-7px\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/compass_arrow.png\" alt=\"compass arrow\" width=\"33\" height=\"31\">) appears in the menu bar. Click it to see which apps are using Location Services.
